Financial Accountant

This role is a great opportunity for an ambitious highly motivated individual. Ideal for someone looking for exposure in the Startup Tech Ecosystem while remaining in a strong finance role . This role involves executing key primary accounting functions which stem across parent and related companies, further growth expected in 2018/2019.

Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of the Finance and Commercial Director, this individual will have the following primary responsibilities across the group;
  • Managing the AP, AR and banking processes and staff
  • Filing bi-monthly VAT / PAYE returns
  • Filing required documents to CRO
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting to senior management on monthly basis
  • Assisting with commercial cash flows, budgeting and forecasting
  • Preparation of monthly payroll
  • Managing intercompany accounts
  • Ensuring ongoing compliance with internal control policies and procedures
  • Assisting with legal and commercial documentation
  • Managing year end audits
  • Engaging with external advisors, legal, tax, accountants, insurers etc..
  • Engaging with customer/tenant queries
  • Managing ad hoc finance projects

The successful candidate must:

  • Be Qualified ACA/ACCA, Top 10 trained
  • Be enthusiastic, flexible and motivated with excellent organisation, multitasking and communication skills
  • Have a high standard of business professional writing
  • Have good working knowledge of Microsoft office, Google Suite and accounting packages. Experience in Quickbooks is an advantage.
  • Interest in the tech startup scene is an advantage.

Financial Planning and Analysis Manager // Glofox

For our Dublin team we are searching for a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager.

Requirements and Responsibilities:

  • Help to prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports
  • Set up and improve finance processes
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
  • Support month-end and year-end close process
  • Contract Management
  • Payroll Oversight and Maintenance.
  • General financial related administrative duties
  • Bank payments of suppliers
  • Quarterly VAT returns
  • Quarterly preparation of board financial reporting materials

Your Profile:

  • A recognised accounting qualification or be in the process of acquiring one
  • A can-do attitude, with strong motivation to get things done
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple projects at once seamlessly
  • Ability to think independently and work collaboratively
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience in similar account and book keeping roles.
  • Good IT skills, with excellent knowledge of Excel and Google Drive
