Job Title: Outbound Sales Executive


This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing Irish FinTech services firm based in a very active Start Up Hub @Dublin 8. Fintechjobs.ie is a newly formed specialist jobs board with ambition to control a rapidly expanding niche job advertising market. The customer base comprises most recruitment companies and industry-specific companies/firms.

Each job role is self-loaded by the participating customers and therefore will unlikely require your input post-sale

However, on-going customer care is essential in ensuring each customer remains a loyal and repeat customer

Full-time/Part-time; remote working preferable

Target market: Nationwide, Ireland


  • Secure engagement and meetings with prospect companies primarily through tele-sales and prospecting activities
  • Follow specific sales process to develop customers from first contact through to sale and repeat sale
  • Perform outbound calls and generate online contacts to new and existing customers
  • Promoting company services and offerings
  • When necessary make appointments with prospective clients
  • Organizing customer meetings with managers
  • Update customer and prospect database to ensure accuracy of contact information
  • Assist the sales team with progressing sales opportunities at any stage in the process
  • Ensure agreed activity targets and sales targets are achieved


  • Perfect English both oral and written
  • Ability to engage well with people over the phone, email or any other medium
  • Communication and selling skills are paramount as well as strong attention to detail
  • Speed of execution – someone who sees something and immediately wants to get it done
  • Ability to logically solve problems with little supervision
  • The right individual profile is someone who is of a sharp mind, driven, excellent interpersonal skills and a natural affinity to customer-service; A ‘take ownership’ approach – act like you own the company
  • Whilst tele-sales experience is not essential, it would be an advantage if the individual had previously worked in a high volume outbound call environment

Desirable Skills and Experience Required:

  • Phone selling experience, commercial acumen
  • Have worked in office environments and teams
  • Proven ability to work to targets
  • Relationship management and financial services experience
  • Any experience using CRM specifically HubSpot would be advantageous
  • Strong negotiating and closing skills
